Our Commitment to Safeguarding

At Coral House, the safety and wellbeing of every child are at the heart of everything we do.

Our Commitment to Safeguarding and Child Protection

At Coral House, we are committed to ensuring every child feels safe, respected, and heard. Our staff follow strict Safeguarding and Child Protection Procedures in line with Local Authority and Ofsted regulations.

All team members receive specialist safeguarding and child sexual exploitation (CSE) training to help them recognise and respond to any concerns. Any incident or suspicion of abuse is reported immediately to the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) and other relevant professionals.

We promote a culture of openness and accountability, supported by clear whistleblowing procedures and regular independent Regulation 44 inspections. Bullying of any kind, including cyberbullying, is not tolerated, and our anti-bullying policy is reinforced through care planning and daily practice.

Children are informed about their rights, advocacy services, and how to raise concerns confidentially. Diversity, inclusion, and respect are central to our care approach, ensuring every young person feels valued and empowered to thrive.
